Easter Hols Family Fun
With Easter just round the corner, here are a few family-friendly events for you to enjoy:
The popular Indoor Funfair returns to the Liverpool Exhibition Centre until 12th April, with jaw dropping attractions for all ages in a climate-controlled environment. The sessions are 3 hours long with over 35 things to do.
Cineworld Speke has become the first cinema in Liverpool to offer the 4DX screen — the most advanced cinema format combining wind, water and movement effects. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is currently showing.
On April 11th and 25th the breathtaking Liverpool Cathedral will hold a deeply relaxing sound bath where guests can pause, relax and reset in one of the most iconic venues in the city.
Over in Southport on the 3rd and 4th April, Lord Street will be transformed into an open-air ballroom by the renowned French theatre company Trans Express, who will put on their ‘Cristal Palace’ show — a spectacular production travelling through 150 years of music under a breathtaking 12m wide chandelier.
Hop into Easter Fun at Croxteth Hall with their self-led bunny hunt on 29th March, followed by a popular makers market with over 60 stalls.
Family favourite Otterspool Adventure is running their Easter event until 12th April with a petting farm, Easter chocolate themed show and parade, egg hunt, and meet the Easter Bunny.
What’s On in May
Kick starting May has to be Sound City music festival, taking place in the heart of Liverpool city centre on 2nd and 3rd May.
Claremont Farm has announced their wildflower fields with Wirral Flower Farm will be open for flower picking every Sunday throughout May, with floral workshops available on selected dates.
Liverpool is also eagerly awaiting the Netball Super League at the M&S Bank Arena on the 9th May — LexisNexis Dragons vs NIC Leeds Rhinos and Manchester Thunder vs London Pulse.
